- Preheat oven to 350°F. Drain peach slices; reserve juice. Place butter in a rectangular 2-quart baking dish. Arrange peach slices in butter.
- Measure reserved juice. If needed, add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups. For batter, in a large bowl whisk together reserved juice, flour, 1 cup sugar, pecans and vanilla. Pour over peaches. Do not stir.
- In a small bowl stir together 2 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Sprinkle on batter. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown around the edges and bubbly. Serve warm with whipped topping.
