Ingredients

  • 4 (5-oz.) salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 4 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme

  1. Rinse fillets; pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl combine butter, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Spread evenly on the top of each fillet.
  3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place fillets skin side down in skillet; cook 4 minutes per side or until crisp and golden. Sprinkle with thyme, and serve.
