Edamame Hummus

With flavors true to its Mediterranean and Middle Eastern roots, this creamy dip makes for a healthy and tasty snack that is great for parties and get togethers!

  • 1/2 pound edamame
  • 1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed butter)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


  1. Boil the beans in salted water for 4 to 5 minutes, or microwave, covered, for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, puree the edamame, tahini, water, parsley, lemon zest and juice, garlic, salt, oil, and coriander until smooth.
  3. Garnish with Sesame seeds.
