Mediterranean Burgers with Lemon-Yogurt Sauce

Buns seasoned with classic Moroccan spices (cumin, coriander and cinnamon) lend an exotic flavor to these Mediterranean burgers topped with an easy, lemon-yogurt sauce.

  • 4 Morningstar Farms® Mediterranean Chickpea Burgers
  • 1/2 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 1 cup baby greens or torn spring mix greens
  • 4 slices tomato
  • salt & pepper to taste

  1. Cook MORNINGSTAR FARMS Mediterranean Chickpea Burgers according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in small bowl stir together yogurt, lemon juice, dill salt. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
  3. In another small bowl stir together cumin, coriander and cinnamon. Brush oil on one side of each bun. Sprinkle with spice mixture. Arrange buns, spice side up, in single layer on baking sheet. Broil 4- to 5-inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
  4. Assemble burgers with greens, burgers, tomato slices and yogurt mixture. Sprinkle with pepper, if desired. Serve immediately.
