Ingredients

  • 3 large apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon, divided
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a square 8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl combine apples, cranberries and 1/2 teaspoon of the pumpkin pie spice; toss to mix well. Transfer to baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl combine flour, brown sugar, oats and remaining 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice; mix well. Mix in softened butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
  3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until topping is golden brown, and apples and berries are tender when pierced with a sharp knife.
