- In a large bowl combine tomatoes, cucumbers, bell pepper and onion; set aside. In a small bowl whisk together vinegar, oil, sugar, garlic, basil and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over vegetables; toss gently to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Toss once more before serving.
