Ingredients

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley, divided
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 (8-oz.) New York strip steaks, 1 1/2 inches thick

  1. In a small bowl combine panko, butter, horseradish, 2 tablespoons of the parsley, and Worcestershire. Season with salt and pepper to taste; set aside.
  2. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to high (400F to 450F). Season steaks with salt and pepper to taste. Grill 5 to 6 minutes; turn steaks. Spread a rounded 1/4 cup of the panko mixture on each steak; gently press to adhere. Grill 5 to 6 minutes more for medium-rare (145F), or to desired doneness.
  3. Remove steaks from grill; let stand 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons parsley, and serve.
