- Peel 1 grapefruit and cut into sections; discard pith. Peel the other grapefruit; reserve half. Cut remaining grapefruit half into sections; discard pith. Squeeze juice from reserved grapefruit half into a small bowl.
- For dressing, whisk together grapefruit juice, vinegar, honey, salt and pepper. Add oil, whisking constantly until blended.
- Place salad greens on a serving platter or in a large bowl. Arrange grapefruit sections on greens. Sprinkle with avocado, and drizzle with dressing. Serve immediately.
