Family Physical Activity

Along with balanced nutrition, being physically active is a key component to Eat Smart Be Well.

    Participate in a variety of physical activities to give your body the most benefit:

    • Stretching
    • Strength Training, such as lifting weights
    • Aerobic Activity, such as bicycling, jumping rope, or jogging

    Most of all, choose activities your body can do & that you enjoy!

    Aim for being physically active 30 minutes for five days each week!

    • The best time to exercise is when you have time! Ten minutes 3 times each day or 30 minutes once per day count!
